Conference Venue – KEDEA
The Research Dissemination Center (KEDEA) of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is a modern conference venue located on the University Campus, within walking distance of Thessaloniki city center. Its distinctive red architecture has made KEDEA a recognizable landmark of the University and a contemporary reference point along Tritis Septemvriou Street.
The Conference Center features three modern auditoriums, a 300 m2 exhibition and foyer area, and fully equipped spaces designed for scientific conferences, symposia, academic meetings and cultural events. Its facilities and central location provide an ideal setting for both the scientific and networking activities of ECPC 2027.
ECPC 2027 will make use of all three KEDEA amphitheaters, providing flexible spaces for plenary lectures, keynote presentations and parallel scientific sessions. Amphitheater I, the venue’s main and largest auditorium, has a seating capacity of 320 participants, while Amphitheaters II and III, located on Level −1, accommodate 170 and 125 participants, respectively.
The spacious 300 m² foyer will serve as a central meeting point throughout the conference and will host poster sessions, coffee breaks, exhibitions and informal networking activities.
Location
KEDEA is situated on Tritis Septemvriou (3rd September) Street, on the Aristotle University Campus, between the University Student Club and the University Gymnasium. Its central location provides convenient access to the historic center of Thessaloniki, hotels, restaurants and many of the city’s main attractions.

Getting to KEDEA
KEDEA is easily accessible on foot, by Metro, bus or taxi from the center of Thessaloniki.
The Panepistimio (University) Metro Station is within walking distance (2 mins) of the conference venue, providing a convenient connection with other parts of the city.
Several OASTH bus routes also serve the University Campus, with nearby stops including University of Macedonia and Student Club (Fititiki Leschi).
From Aristotelous Square and the heart of Thessaloniki, KEDEA is approximately 2–2.5 km away, and many centrally located hotels are within a 15–25 minute walk.
Thessaloniki International Airport “Makedonia” (SKG) is approximately 15 km from the venue and can be reached conveniently by taxi or public transportation.
